We use cookies only where they are strictly necessary to run the site and, with your consent, a minimal set of privacy-friendly analytics. No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking without your opt-in.

2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixel tags, and web beacons. In this policy we use "cookies" to refer to all these technologies.
3. Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary cookies are stored on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) or contract performance (Art. 6.1.b): without them the site cannot operate.
All other cookies (analytics, marketing, functional) require your prior, free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR, Art. 5.3 ePrivacy Directive, Italian Garante Provv. 10 June 2021). We never drop a non-essential cookie before you click "Accept" in the banner.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Manage cookies link in the site footer.
4. Cookie categories
We group cookies into four categories. You can enable or disable each category independently (strictly-necessary is always on).
4.1 Strictly necessary
Required to load the site, remember your cookie choices, keep you logged in, and protect against attacks (CSRF, bots). Cannot be disabled.
4.2 Analytics
Aggregated, anonymous measurement of site usage. We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless and GDPR-friendly analytics tool based in the EU. No personal data, no cross-site tracking.
4.3 Marketing
Currently none. If in the future we introduce retargeting or advertising cookies, they will be listed here and loaded only with your explicit consent.
4.4 Functional
Currently none. Optional embeds such as chat widgets, video players or interactive maps would fall in this category and would load only with your consent.

No marketing or functional cookies are currently in use. Any future additions will be disclosed here before activation.
6. Third-party recipients
Some cookies are set by third parties (e.g. Cloudflare for bot mitigation, Plausible for analytics when enabled). These providers act as data processors under a written agreement and are bound to EU data protection standards. The full list of sub-processors is in our Data Processing Agreement.
7. International transfers
Where a cookie provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Decision 2021/914) and complementary technical measures. Details in our Privacy Policy, section 5.
